Woodruff the Puppy, Rolo the Kitten and Gracie the Pony are a stylish trio, dressed for adventures. Their wardrobe of clothes and accessories are designed to fit all three toys so they can swap outfits. The puppy is dressed in a mock cable sweater, trousers, backpack and headband, the pony in a t-shirt, cargo skirt, briefs and messenger bag, and the kitten in a dress, cardigan and briefs. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in wool blend DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Scheepjes Merino Soft (50% wool/25% microfibre/25% acrylic), DK weight (double knitting/light worsted weight/8 ply), using one 50g ball of each shade for the 3 animals and outfits.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, bobbins, stitch holders, and buttons for eyes and outfits.

SIZES
One size only - Puppy is 22cm tall, Kitten is 22cm tall and Pony is 24cm tall (these measurements are from the toys’ toes to the tops of the ears).

TECHNIQUES
For intermediate knitters and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, intarsia colour-work, duplicate stitch (Swiss darning), embroidering noses and seaming to finish.
