The diamond-stripes in the Diamond Stripe Lace Shawl look suspiciously like the Atomic Force Microscope cantilever that played center stage in my recently completed Master’s thesis. This is the same mechanical cantilever that brought in equal parts joy and defeat and consumed every waking moment until I was finished.

Thankfully the Diamond Stripe Lace Shawl shawl knits up much faster than earning a masters degree in physics and with much less public speaking and Atomic Force Microscope cantilevering.

I wrote Wen’s Wedding Shawl pattern for my friend Wen on her wedding day. It was the perfect wedding accessory along with her Special Edition Chucks, and gorgeous dress.

The Knitting Project Bag is seamless and knit completely in the round including the handles. It’s the perfect size for carrying along your current knitting project – large enough for a couple skeins of yarn and some notions, but not so big that it’s unwieldy!
