The Cannon Beach Accessories Collection currently includes the Cannon Beach Cowl, and the Cannon Beach Mitts.

The collection began with a cowl. It was inspired by the loveliness of Woolfolk FÅR yarn, which has an interesting texture due to the chainette/icord construction. Slip stitch patterns show off strands of yarn; the texture would otherwise be hidden in the stitches.

The fluffy thick/thin of single ply Malabrigo Merino Worsted is also a good choice for this project (purple detail photo). A plyed yarn gives quite a different look (apple green/purple detail photo). Knitter’s choice!
