All patterns give instructions for hand knitted ribbing as Bond believe that looks neater. However it is possible to use the Bond machine for the ribbing.
The rest of the instructions are given for machine knitting.
Each pattern was originally designed for hand knitting so published as a hand knit garment in other publications. This booklet focuses on machine knit instructions.
