I wear 3 hats at home. Mama, knitter, and butt kicker. I decided to write a knitting pattern collection to make it easy on my friends and family to see where I’m at each day.

I wear the Mama hat when I’m fulfilling family obligations like:

1. Showing my husband where to find the milk in the fridge.
2. Yelling for the 100th time at my sweet sprog to please stop stomping the cheerios into the grain of the laminate floor.
3. Sweeping up the 2 lbs of dog hair that collected overnight.

I wear the Knitter hat when:

1. I’m casting on for my 27th project on the needles.
2. I’m buying more yarn (or fiber). Again.
3. Stealthily sneaking more rubbermaid containers into the house for yarn storage.

I wear the Butt Kicker hat:
Any remaining time in my busy schedule.

The hats included in this collection are: The Simple Swish Bulky Hat, Girl with the Purl Earring Hat, and Abstract Vine Hat in Swish Bulky. All hats are knit using a US 10.5 knitting needle and Knit Picks Swish Bulky yarn. All patterns are charted and written out, so you may work from the charts or the written instructions. All 3 hats are knit in the round from the brim to the crown.
