Zigzag sweater - child sizes
The Zigzag Sweater is a fun, easy and fast make with lots of possibilities for colour play!
The sweater is made top down with minimal sewing. The V-stitch pattern is fast to make as the stitches are made into chain spaces.
The pattern comes in sizes 4 (6) 8 (10) 12 years and the sweater is designed to be loose fitting (measures approximately 7 cm more than actual chest circumference).
Sweater chest circumference: 65 (70) 75 (79) 84 cm
Try making the yoke in stripes of different colours and the rest of the sweater in one colour for a classic look. Or make the sweater in stripes of two colours and the rib edgings in a third colour. Or how about using all your leftovers for a colour party sweater!
The total amount of yarn needed is approximately 4 (5) 6 (7) 8 skeins. But if you make a colour pattern where not all skeins are used completely, you might need more skeins.
Pattern is available in english (US terms) and danish
