ZigZag Lace Pedi Socks
This pattern uses one 100 gram hank of sport weight yarn, and is knit from the top down. I used Yarntini Variegated Sport (100 g/270 yards).
This pattern is also featured in the March 2010 Simple Pleasures yarn club package from NH Knitting Mama Yarns, using her Strafford Line yarn (sport weight, 100 g/274 yards).
Size is determined by yarn and needle size. Circumference around foot is 7 3/4 inches. I wear a size 7 shoe, and the sock is a nice fit, not too loose on me. It could definitely fit a wider foot, too. To make a smaller sock, decrease more stitches at the gusset (see note in gusset instructions). Or you could go with a thinner yarn or even smaller needles. Yarntini is a heavy sport weight; a lighter sport weight sock yarn would make a small/medium sized sock.
