Zest
The Zest shawl is knit in sections that allow you to play and experiment with those fun, funky mini skeins and to create some sort of order out of chaos!
Knit from tip to fringe, Zest is a quick knit that has some squishy garter stitch with two strands of yarn held together and a simple texture stitch pattern that allows the fabric to open up and give it some drape!
Mix and match those mini skeins in any sort of order you wish until you reach the middle and join it all together with a three needle bind off before making the knitted fringe! So grab your needles and get zesty!
Size: 70 in/178 cm along the top edge; 19 in/48 cm along the center of the shawl. Shawl size may vary, depending on individual knitter’s gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences. (Note: Measurements do not include fringe!)
Recommended yarn: Fingering weight mini-skeins or scraps in 11 colors (or fewer!) in any color sequence you wish! You can also use Worsted/DK weight held single (with the yardage requirement cut in half)
