Zephyr (Worsted)
The Zephyr combines everything I love about cardigans. With a top-down seamless design, raglan sleeves, and lace details, it is a straight-forward but still interesting to knit sweater. It’s also a quick knit using light worsted weight yarn, and available in a ton of sizes. But what sets Zephyr apart is the fit.
Normally, when you work raglan shaping in a medium or heavier yarn, you end up with a lot of extra fabric bunching under the arms. To address that problem, the Zephyr includes short rows that add length to the top of the sleeve over the shoulder. Even better, the shoulder design results in keeping the sweater in place whether you button it or not.
