Zephyr Hat
Inspired by and named for a soft, gentle breeze.
This lovely hat evokes a sense of wafting air, as the whirls of cabled twists are reminiscent of mischievous air-currents delicately drifting onto the skin.
This slightly slouchy-style hat is worked in the round, from the brim up.
The pattern is provided with written instructions and a chart for the cabled twists.

Note:
The hat uses two yarns; one strand of 4ply (fingering weight) and one strand of 2 ply (lace weight) mohair yarn, held together throughout. They can be substituted by using a single strand of 8 ply (DK) yarn, if desired. If substituting with 8 ply (DK) yarn you will require approx. 128 (148, 162) m / 140 (162, 178) yds.
Also Note: If substituting the yarn for 8ply (DK), the light and airy feeling of the hat will be absent as the resulting fabric will be noticeably firmer.
