Zen Frog is full of chill, looking for calm, relaxing places to meditate. He’s a cute reminder to all of us to find our zen when we’re feeling stressed.

Made with worsted weight yarn, this finished frog measures approximately 11 inches tall while sitting. For this pattern, I used a weighted pouch in his body that I made using nylons and poly-pellets. It helps him to sit upright, but this is an optional step. I also used wire in his arms and legs so they’re poseable, but that is an optional step as well.

I made a second frog using safety eyes, and didn’t put the wire or weighted pouch in him. With his long arms and legs, you can use him as a curtain tie-back, tie him to a lamp or bedpost, or even attach velcro to his hands and feet so he can easily be attached to things.
