Zara the Zebra is ready for a colourful day on safari. The black and white chenille yarns create a soft, plush toy with distinct stripes, and DK weight yarns make their bright colour-block outfit. Zara is knit mostly in garter stitch and stockinette, and their sweater is removable. You can choose whether or not to embroider the heart on the front of the sweater, which is added using Swiss darning.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
For the zebra, Sirdar Happy Chenille (100% polyester), DK weight (double knitting/light worsted weight), up to 25g in each shade of Black and White. For the colourful outift, King Cole Big Value DK (100% acrylic), DK weight (double knitting/light worsted weight), up to 25g in each shade of Pink, Orange, Green and Blue.

NOTIONS:
