CONSTRUCTION
The pullover is worked from the bottom up. Begin by working the Body to the underarm location and then set the stitches aside. Then, begin the Sleeves to the length at the underarm location matching the stitch pattern of the Body at the underarm. This means that if a longer or shorter Sleeve length is desired, it must be considered before beginning the Sleeve. Then, the Sleeves are inserted into the armhole and the pullover is knitted in the round using circular needles over the Body and the Sleeves. At the same time, raglan
stitches are decreased along the length of both Sleeves. When the neckline is reached, the pullover can either be worked back and forth or it can be worked in the round, which will then be stitched with reinforcement
stitches and cut to the shape of the curved neckline. Lastly, a collar is worked to the
desired height.
