Description
This pattern includes the possibility to knit either a sleeveless top, a pair of shorts, or both combined in a cute little playsuit. The design features subtle ribbing details on the sides, cables at the waist, and cords to close the top and to adjust the waist fit. For a personalized fit, the pattern allows to choose 2 independent sizes: one for the top and one for the shorts, even if you choose to knit the full playsuit. It is knitted top down, starting with two panels for the top that are then joined in the round for the body, and separated for the legs. It is named after the French singer Zaho de Sagazan, that I listened to on repeat while knitting this piece! #ZahoPlaysuit

Gauge
24 stitches x 32 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4”) in simple stockinette stitch in the round, using 3mm (US2.5) needles.

Top
The top is designed to fit with 0 cm to 5 cm (0 to 2 in) negative ease at the bust. The length of body depends on your preferences. Note that if you knit the jumpsuit, it will be worn by passing the feet through the top, so the top must be wide enough to pass through the hips (but the fabric is stretchy). Measures indicated are the ones of the garment.

Shorts
The shorts are designed to fit with 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 in) positive ease at the hips (E) for a flowy fit. The length of the legs depends on your preferences. Note that the shorts can be tightened at the waist (D) with a cord. Measures indicated are the ones of the garment.

Yardage

Material

• 3mm (US2.5) circular needles, or needles size needed to get gauge
• 7 stitch markers (one different from the others to mark beginning of the round)
• 2 flexible stitch holders (optional, you can use scrap yarn instead)
• 1 cable needle (optional, you can also hold the st without it)

Description
Ce patron comprend la possibilité de tricoter soit un haut sans manches, soit un short, soit les deux combinés dans un joli combishort. Le design présente des détails de côtes subtils sur les côtés, des torsades à la taille et des cordons pour fermer le haut et ajuster la taille. Le combishort est tricoté de haut en bas, en commençant par deux panneaux pour le haut qui sont ensuite assemblés en circulaire pour le corps, et séparés après les augmentations pour les jambes. Pour un ajutement personnalisé, le patron permet de choisir deux tailles indépendantes: celle du haut, et celle du short, même si vous tricotez le combishort entier. Le nom du patron est inspiré de la chanteuse Zaho de Sagazan, que j’ai écouté en boucle en tricotant ce modèle ! #ZahoPlaysuit

Tailles

Haut
Le haut est conçu pour être porté avec une aisance négative de 0 cm à 5 cm au tour de poitrine (B). La longueur du corps dépend de vos préférences. Notez que si vous tricotez le combishort, il sera enfilé par les pieds. Par conséquent, le haut doit être suffisamment large pour passer à au niveau des hanches (mais le tissu est un peu extensible). Les mesures indiquées sont celles du tricot.
