The Zadig hood is the perfect accessory to complete an outfit while keeping you warm. It’s comfortable and provides ample coverage, and the integrated scarf is equally generous, allowing you to wrap it around your neck or tie it in a pretty knot at the front. Construction begins with the hat section. The stitches are then placed on hold. The left side of the scarf is knitted. This is then attached to the hood and finished with the right side of the scarf.

Sizes: 1 (2) 3 for head circumference 51-54 (54-57) 57-60 cm / 20-21 ¼ (21 ¼-22 ½) 22½23 ½.

Gauge: 19 sts & 28 rows for 4 inches /10 cm in stockinette stitches after blocking.

Yarn & notions:

• This design knitted with 2 strands of lace weight yarn and one of fingering weight held together. Approx. 360 (410) 500 m / 400 (450) 550 yards of each strand. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate. The sample is shown in size 2, knitted in Knitting for Olive Merino (1 strand) and Soft Silk Mohair (2 strands) held together, in slate green. This blend gives a light and airy feel. It is also possible to knit with a single strand of DK/light worsted weight yarn.
• US 5 / 3.75 mm & US 7 / 4.5 mm with a 40 cm / 16’’ & 60 cm / 24” cables.
• Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle, stitch holders or scrap yarn.

La capuche Zadig est l’accessoire qui complète une tenue tout en tenant chaud Elle est confortable et suffisamment enveloppante, l’écharpe intégrée se veut tout aussi généreuse afin de pouvoir l’entourer autour du cou ou de réaliser un joli nœud sur le devant. La construction débute par la partie bonnet. Les mailles sont ensuite mises en attente. Le pan gauche de l’écharpe est tricoté. Celle-ci poursuit en étant reliée à la capuche puis se termine par le pan droit de l’écharpe.

Tailles : 1 (2) 3 pour une circonférence de tête de 51-54 (54-57) 57-60 cm.

Échantillon : 19 mailles et 28 rangs en jersey endroit pour un carré de 10 cm de côtés après blocage.

Laine et matériel :

• Le modèle se tricote avec 1 fil de type fingering et 2 fils de lace, environ 360 (410) 500 m de chaque fil.
  Il est présenté en taille 2, il est tricoté en Knitting for Olive Merino (1 brin de fil) et Soft silk mohair (2 brins de fils) tenus ensemble, coloris slate green. Ce mélange donne un côté léger et aérien. Il est également possible de tricoter avec un seul fil d’épaisseur DK/light worsted. Attention, gardez à l’esprit que les métrages ne sont qu’une estimation.
• Aiguilles circulaires 3,75 mm et 4,5 mm avec un câble de 40 cm de longueur et un autre de 60 cm de longueur
