Yves is a short and wide cardigan with narrow shoulders. It is knitted from the bottom up with a body and sleeves in stockinette stitch. Hems are in rib stitch in a contrast colour. You knit the body in one piece back and forth until you reach the underarm, where you divide the work in back and fronts. After joining the shoulders, stitches are picked up around the armholes and you form the sleeve caps with short rows. Other details of the cardigan are pockets, an i-cord edging around the neck and front opening, and rib borders in a contrast colour around the armholes.
