The socks are knitted in the round top down. Beginning with a ribbing; knit 2 sts, purl 2 sts and then it is only knit after the ribbing is finished. The type of the heel used for the socks is called Halldóras heel (Halldóruhæll) and decreases are made at the toe area. Each size covers 3 shoe sizes, the only difference is the length of the foot. It is easy to measure that before finishing the sock.

Ullarsokkar fullorðins

Sokkarnir eru prjónaðir ofanfrá og niður að tá. Byrjað er á stroffi; 2 L sl, 2 L br og síðan eru þeir prjónaðir með sléttu prjóni. Hællinn er Halldóruhæll og úrtaka er gerð við tá. Hver stærð nær yfir 3 skóstærðir. Auðvelt er að máta sokkinn til að mæla lengd á fæti áður en úrtaka er gerð á tá.
