The Yps cardigan is a cute kids’ cardigan, easy to style and easy to wear. The name Yps is short for Ypsilon (the German word for the letter “Y”) and it’s part of the Yps-Capsule-Collection.
The construction is unique, it’s worked bottom up, starting with a split hem, the body is worked in rows, then separated at underarm to shape back and fronts using short rows. Then, stitches for the sleeves are cast on and worked together with the upper fronts and back in garter stitch to be joined at shoulders with the 3-needle method. Finally, stitches for the
bands are picked up and worked in garter stitch including some buttonholes.

Der YPScardigan (babys_kids) ist Teil der YPS-Design Capsule.
Ein moderner Cardigan, der sich unkompliziert stylen lässt.
Der Name YPS kommt vom dem Buchstaben Ypsilon, da die Form / Konstruktion an diesen Buchstaben erinnert (siehe auch YPS top)
Die Konstruktion ist interessant und einzigartig ohne zu kompliziert zu sein. Es wird mit dem geteilten Saum gestartet, Der Rumpf wird in Reihen in einem Stück gearbeitet bis zur Trennung in Rücken- und Vorderteile. welche einzeln mit verkürzten Reihen weitergearbeitet werden.
Man nimmt Maschen für die Unterärmel auf und strickt die Vorderteile/Ärmel, dann das Rückenteil inkl Ärmel um die Ärmel schließlich mit der 3-Nadel Technik zusammenzufügen.
Am Schluss wird die Vorderblende inklusive Knopflöcher Kraus rechts angestrickt.
