This is the final season of Downton and thus our final MKAL as well (although we’ve heard rumor of a movie, so we are holding out hope!)

I made a pilgrimage to Lorna’s Laces in Chicago where their awesome team allowed me to test dye this color myself. I was aiming to create a color that looked like the Yorkshire skyline, and I am so thrilled with how it turned out! I hope you like it too! This color was only available for the duration of the MKAL, but there are plenty of other beautiful colorways of Solemate to choose from!

Materials:
-2 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Solemate in “Yorkshire Skies” -or- 850 yds of fingering weight yarn.
-US Size 4 – 24” & 40” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge.)
-US Size 4 - DPNs
-Stitch markers
-Tapestry needle

How to get pattern help:
