This is a really quick and easy to knit cloche hat.
It is a souvenir of Yorkshire hat, inspired by the 5-petalled, double Yorkshire rose on a turquoise background which is the Yorkshire symbol and flag. I used hand dyed pure Yorkshire wool, but any Aran weight would be a substitute.
Purist knitters beware! The rose itself is crocheted! A knitted flower (or corsage of flowers) would look equally attractive.
