Before I stepped onto a moor, I imagined them as dry, unyielding places. It only took one step to realise that the exact opposite is true, with them full of rushing creeks, enormous bogs and mini-waterfalls at every hill, no matter how big or small. This wrap is inspired by
the small rivulets, streams, puddles and rivers that carve themselves across the moorland and designed to use the full length of these beautiful skeins.

Materials
2x 100g skeins of Baskerville in Eventide, Exmoor Blueface, British Gotland , Silk, 400m/437yds)
5mm (US H) hook
Optional: a scale to weigh your yarn

Tension
18 sts and 12 rows in ripple pattern measures 10cm using 5mm hook (or size needed to achieve tension).

Skills Needed
Basic crochet stitches, working in rows, working into chain spaces, working into stitches, post stitches, working into the 3rd loop of a half treble (explained in pattern).

Construction
Starting at one end, each row is increased, worked even then decreased on the plain section next to the border edge until the shawl reaches the desired size.

Pattern is written in UK standard crochet terminology and charted.
