This shawl is an adventure of your own choosing – a doodle with yarn! Following the pattern will give you a shawl exactly like the sample, but i’ve also included tips to mix up the sections and color changes to make the shawl your own!

Don’t like one of the pattern sections? Skip it and substitute another one! Don’t have enough yarn? Add more colors! This is a great shawl to use up scraps or mini skeins. Don’t like multi colored shawls? Use 2 skeins of the same color! The possibilities are endless! You can even change your mind as you’re knitting!

This is a shawl that is both easy to knit, but changes often enough that you’ll never be bored while you knit it! Both beginners and advanced knitters will love making a Yarndoodle!

Gauge and Yarn suggestions are given, but unless you have very specific sizing needs, just use a yarn and needle that give you a fabric you like - enjoy your knit and stop when it’s big enough! You don’t even have to swatch if you don’t want to.
