Xochitl
Xochitl is a loose Summer/Spring garment with a lace yoke and details around the bottom and sleeves meant to emulate the flower embroidery designs typically made by Mexican artisans. It’s worked top-bottom, making it seamless. Length is adjustable to taste, making it a beautiful, yet versatile item.
Xochitl takes its name from the Nahutl word ‘Xochitl’ (so-chil), which means flower. Nahuatl was spoken by the Aztecs who populated Mexico centuries ago. To this day, many words in Spanish, and even English, come from Nahuatl, including “chocolate”.
