Woodville Mitts
These beautiful mitts with their geometric patterning and gorgeous woodland shades are perfect for autumn and winter wear. Knitted in the round as one piece, they have a simple stranded charted pattern that is suitable for beginners. They feature ribbed cuffs around the wrist, fingers and thumb.
Elizabeth Woodville (1437 - 1492) was the wife of King Edward IV of England. She was known to be very beautiful and played a large role in the war of the roses. She was thought to be a witch and have magical powers as a descendant of Melusine the water spirit.
This pattern matches the Woodville Tam and they can be purchased together as an ebook.
