This knitted shawl design combines an engaging two-color slip-stitch pattern with garter stitch to create a super-squishy textured triangle. To bring this design to life, I chose rich, earthy tones reminiscent of forest foliage.
Finished Dimensions:
• 80” / 203 cm Wingspan • 24” / 61 cm Deep
Gauge:
19 sts and 28 rows over 4” / 10 cm in garter st on smaller needles blocked
Materials:
• Ritual Dyes Elder yarn (100% Rambouillet wool yarn, worsted weight)
• Size US7 (4.5mm) 32”/ 81 cm circular needles • Size US6 (4mm) 32” / 81 cm circular needles
• Color A: Heartwood (purple) approximately 180
yards/ 165 meters
• Color B: Natural (white) approximately 300 yards/ 275 meters
• Color C: Treeline (green) approximately 300 yards/ 275 meters
