Woodland Wreath, Leaves
This is the second in a series of twelve linked patterns for a knitted wreath, to be published daily in December 2013.
This pattern is for a long garland of basic leaves which will form the backdrop to all the other decorations.
The leaves are knitted with double knitting weight yarn; you can use one yarn or oddments of lots of shades of green as each leaf is knitted separately.
Patterns are given for two sizes of leaves, the bigger ones are about 7 cm long and the small ones 5 cm. You will need between 50g and 100g of yarn in total, depending on the size of your wreath.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff
