In my neck of the “woods”, I see rabbits all day long nibbling on bits of grass or weeds. Honestly, I think there may be a burrow in the burn pile in our back yard. We sometimes find baby bunnies hopping around. Don’t worry, we never burn the burn pile! So it’s more of a compost heap than anything else. And even though rabbits are sometimes seen as pests (they are when they eat your garden!), I still think they are the cutest!
Now you can bring the cute little Woodland Rabbit into your home. Make this double knit potholder featuring violet leaves framing the furry friend. If you’re unfamiliar with double knitting, this small potholder is a great way to learn this knitting technique. Both sides are the same, except with reversed colors. You’ll get the accomplishment of finishing a beautiful project and the confidence of adding a new skill to your knitting basket.
With this instantly downloadable PDF pattern, you’ll have all the help you need to get started!
This pattern includes written instructions, a chart, and links to video tutorials for the invisible cast on, invisible bind off, slip stitch edging, and I-cord loop. You’ll end up with a professional looking finished project that you’ll be proud to give as a gift or keep and put on display.
