The Woodland Crochet Pumpkin Pattern is a fun, quick way to make organic-looking crochet pumpkins. Using a highly textured but easy crochet stitch, this project works up quickly.
You will be able to make crochet pumpkins in any size using this one pattern. Best of all, this PDF crochet pattern is great for stash busting and your crochet pumpkins will look great in any color! With instructions on how to change the size of your pumpkins as well as the ability to use any yarn weight you prefer, you’ll have your own crochet pumpkin patch in no time!
With a final embellishment for the stem being your own choice, this crochet pumpkin will be easy to fit into your specific style of home decoration. I used a part of a stick to keep with the organic feel, but you could use a cinnamon stick, crochet a stem, or anything else you can think of.
SKILL LEVEL:
Easy/Medium to Advanced Beginner- This crochet pumpkin pattern is relatively easy to follow along with. You will need to know how to chain, slip stitch and half double crochet. Additionally, you’ll need to know how to seam two sides together using a tapestry needle as well as identify sides of stitches to weave in and out of.
This PDF crochet pattern includes several photos to help through the “hardest” part - the seaming, the cinching and creating the ribs of the pumpkin.
PATTERN INCLUDES:
1) Full version PDF with photo tutorial for all the steps to finish the pumpkin such as seaming, cinching, stuffing, and creating the ribs.
2) Printer friendly PDF with only one picture and 4 pages, to save ink.
