Wonky Walking is supposed to suggest a meandering walk through whimsical pathways and colors. But it may suggest something completely different to you!

The blanket is worked in “Harry Potter” colors from the Cascade 220 Superwash line. The construction is to work the blocks then join them into horizontal strips using pick up and knit and a 3-needle bind off. The same joining trick is used to join the strips together.

The blocks themselves are composed of striped mitered shapes. The pathway is created with striping and the corner is turned using short rows.

The pattern includes full written instructions, and step-by-step construction illustrations. Links are provided to a coloring page and optional charts, and video tutorials for techniques.
