Women's Flapper Era Hat
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This very soft and warm hat is designed like those worn by the women of the 1920s era. The entire hat (except for one round and the flower) uses double-stranded yarn making a warm winter hat and one that holds its shape quite well. Directions are also given for knitting the flower for the hatband, but you could also embellish the hat with a ribbon bow, silk flower or big buttons. I believe this would also be a very cute head covering for anyone experiencing hair loss but mostly during cold months because it is quite warm.
