Women's Fair Isle Cardigan
Totally wearable today, it’s hard to believe that the knitting pattern for this Fair Isle ladies’ cardigan can be traced back to the 2 October 1965 issue of Woman’s Weekly.
The original instructions say: The prize cardigan combines the cool appeal of white with much sought after Fair Isle yoke. Perfect complement to plain tweeds or ski trousers. Work at a tension of 6 stitches to one inch in width over the stocking stitch, using No. 9 needles, to obtain the measurements given.
