Perfect standby for casual wear is this double-breasted, double-knit jacket first featured in the 16 October 1965 issue of Woman’s Weekly. The contrast stripe offsets the fastenings and the stitch has a textured appearance.
The original instructions say; Work at a tension that 3 repeats of the 8-stitch pattern measure 3¼ inches in width on No.9 needles to obtain the measurements given.

- A pair of each No.9, No.11 and No.12 knitting needles
