This cabled hat uses Moss Stitch as the background to evoke the rich textures of Wistman’s Wood, an ancient oak woodland in the heart of Dartmoor. Worked from the cuff upwards in the round, this is a fairly quick knit in aran weight. Choose the smaller size for a snug fitting beanie, or the larger size for a slouchy look. You will need an extra skein of yarn if you wish to add a pom pom.
