This pattern was originally published as Green Trees Crochet’s contribution to the 2025 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 6-9, 2025 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is also available for download as part of the 2025 Pattern Collection: Our Sky Full of Stars

It’s exciting to see a shooting star in the night sky! Most of us will make a wish! Now you can be wrapped in a shooting star with this over the shoulder shawl. The pattern is worked in 3 different panels and a star motif. Of course you can give it some sparkle with beads too!

Yarn
3 skeins of #1 sock/fingering/baby weight yarn at 400 yards / 365 meters / 3.5 ounces / 100 grams for each skein

This shawl was made with Garage Dyeworks Auto Sock (100% superwash merino)
Colorways Used:
Color A = Petrol - Panel 1 and Star Motif -
1 skein (286 y, 261 m, 3.2 oz, 87 g used)
Color B = Oregon Mist - Panel 2 and Star Motif -
1 skein (141 y, 129 m, 1.4 oz, 43 g used)
Color C = Smugglers Cove - Panel 3 and Star Motif -
1 skein (106 y, 96 m, 1.1 oz, 32 g used)

It is suggested that Color A is a solid color so the filet design of Panel 1 is visible.
