Winter's Tale
Reminiscent of any woodsy area - especially from this past year’s winter - this small, yet lovely shawl incorporates a simple lace pattern as a scarf but is finished off with picot edge giving it a more feminine, ruffled look as an evening wrap.
The knitter has enough yarn left over to easily add an additional repeat of the main pattern or else increase the size of the border for a wider or longer shawl.
Pattern includes both a lace chart and written instructions.
** 10 SEP 2014 - Have received a request to chart out the border as well. Will work on that and upload an updated pattern once complete. In the meantime: O=YO, /=K2tog, \=SSK and X= “Sl 2 as if to knit, K1, Pass both stitches over the Knit stitch” (Double decrease) **
I hope you’ll take a moment to visit my other patterns using more fabulous yarn by the good folks at Done Roving.
