Winterplay
Inspired by a gorgeous yarn spun by symonangel from some fabulous ThreeWatersFarm fleece.
If you don’t have any handspun you can use a commercial striping yarn like Noro, Libery Elite or Mini Mochi.
For me this one is all about the interplay of the yarn colours and the stitch texture - the “W” is for wool or winter - whichever you prefer ;)
The stitch is a modified version of Roman Stripe - modified to make it even easier and more relaxing to knit, and also to produce a more attractive “wrong side” - which I think is important for a nice long scarf that will probably blow about in the breeze. ☻
