Die “WinterFlorentine” ist größer und aus kuscheligem Alpakagarn gestrickt. Sie ist toll, um sich hineinzukuscheln, wenn ein kalter Wind um die Häuser pfeift. Und wenn der Herbst uns noch ein paar Sonnentage gönnt, ist diese Tuch super als Pullover- oder Jackenersatz.

The “Winter” version of the “Florentine” shawl knits up fast. The mesh pattern is easy to memorize, and progress can be noticed instantly.

The “Spring” version of the “Florentine” shawl is best suited for when the first spring sunrays have arrived, or to guard against a fresh breeze in the summer.

The “Winter” version is larger and worked in cozy Alpacayarn. It is ideally suited to wrap oneself into when a cold wind is whistling around the house corners. It can also replace a sweater when fall decides to grant us a few more sunny days.

You will need a total of 450g [7 oz] “Landpartie” by Küstengarn (100% Baby alpaca, yardage 100 m [110 yds] per 50 g [1.75 oz]), of these
– 350 g [3.5 oz] in color “Minzprinzessin” (Mint Princess = Mint Green)
– 50 g [1.75 oz] in color Windsbraut (Winds’ Bride = Dark Grey)
– 50 g [1.75 oz] in color Herbsthimmel (Autumn Sky = Light Grey)

You need to know: knit and purl stitches, passed-over decreases, increases, picking up stitches from the selvedge.
