Nothing like a good scarf for a fast project to learn a new stitch pattern. The bead stitch motif was inspired by visions of winterberries peeking through the snow. I love using a self-striping yarn for this one since it lets me show off multiple beautiful colors without having to work at it. Easy enough for gifts or charity makes, but I’m keeping one for myself to wear all winter long!

Sizing is very flexible
Just add more rows to make the scarf longer, and add/subtract pattern repeats to adjust the width. Gauge is not important.
If you match gauge, the scarf will measure 5.5 in/14 cm x 6 ft/1.8 m.

Perfect one skein wonder for gifts or charity makes!

Stitches used: sc, dc, bead stitch
