The simplest version has a plain ribbed edge and is finished at the top in a classic toque shape. A hat with all the options has cords, earflaps, and a toque shaped top that extends into any length tassel. Play around with earlaps only, shorter tassel tops, and pom pom additions.

Seamless construction, like all nonstop knits hat patterns, using a combination of size 9 double points and size 9 and 10.5 16” circular needles. All style options can be made in this way - one continuous piece of knitting, whether you begin with the two stitch cord and earflaps, or the ribbed edge of the hat. Clear instructions make it easy!
