This is an attractive lariat that works up fast and the final result is extremely appealing.
The tutorial will guide you in making the lariat, along with the rose(s), vines and sprigs.

Yarn and hook: 50 gr of bulky yarn of your choice for the lariat with a 9mm hook (US M/N-13 / UK 2/0) and DK yarn for the edging (about 30 gr) with a 4 mm hook. (US F/ UK 8).

Other: Tapestry needle for weaving ends, sewing needle and thread, brooch pin (optional).

Stitches in American terminology: chain (ch), chain space (ch-sp), stitch (st.), slip stitch (sl st), skip (sk), single crochet (sc), half-double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), treble (tr).

Measurements of finished lariat: per maker’s wish. The lariat in this tutorial measures: 1.75 cm/68.8” in length along with leaves/vines, and 6 cm / 2.36” in width.
