WINTER IRIS MITTENS

As those of us who live in colder climates know, Winter is more than just a season. It is a concept. It is the idea of cheer and celebration used to conquer frost and desolation. It is the juxtaposition of stark surroundings with vibrant images of growth. Reminiscent of Northern European folk motifs replete with such themes, the Winter Iris collection will keep your digits warm and your spirits uplifted.

A sibling-pattern to the Winter Iris Socks, these cozy mittens feature a stretchy, stripey cuff and a structured hand adorned with lovely botanical colourwork. Designed for DK to Aran weight yarns, this is a quick colouwork project.
