This hat is the chunky version of the Robin Hood’s Bay beret. It combines sections of a traditional Old Shale pattern with stocking stitch. It is designed to be worn with a close fitting rib band and then a much larger body. As it is knitted using a thicker weight yarn it is perfect for winter days. And it knits up really quickly so makes a great last minute gift.

The hat was knitted in Rowan Cocoon (80% Wool, 20% Mohair) in colourway Misty Blue 827.
