What a cute pair of moccasins to keep those precious little toes warm during winter!

This pattern is written using American crochet terms although a US/UK crochet terms conversion chart is also provided.

Materials and Tools:

• Approximately 50 g of worsted weight/Aran/10 ply yarn in 2 colors of choice
• Crochet hook size E (3.5 mm) or size needed to achieve gauge
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• 3-4 stitch markers
• Preferred props (such as ruler or piece of cardboard) for making pompoms or Fray Stop Glue for finishing simple shoe laces
• Bristle brush for fluffing up “fur”

Finished Sizes:

• XS (approx. age Preemie – 0 months): sole length 3” (8 cm), sole width 2” (5 cm)
• S (approx. age 0 – 3 months): sole length 3.5” (9 cm), sole width 2” (5 cm)
• M (approx. age 3 – 6 months): sole length 4” (10 cm), sole width 2.25” (6 cm)
• L (approx. age 6 – 12 months): sole length 4.5” (11 cm), sole width 2.25” (6 cm)

I am listing this pattern as “intermediate” as it involves using a couple of more “advanced” stitches. You will notice, however, that it is a very detailed pattern as I have put every effort to make each step as clear and as easy to follow as possible and included plenty of additional notes and pictures.
