Wine d'Oyley
This pattern is
available for free.
The centre of the d’oyley is made of a very small circlet of white damask linen, measuring only 2 1/2 inches in diameter when hemmed; there is no feather-stitching, as the top round of the lace, forming “picots”, is sewn upon the front of the hem, and has a pretty and novel effect.
