Willowherb mitts
“The pageant of the river bank had marched steadily along, unfolding itself in scene-pictures that succeeded itself in stately procession.
Purple loose-strife arrived early, shaking luxuriant locks along the edge of the mirror whence its own face laughed back at it. Willow-herb, tender and wistful, like a pink sunset-cloud was not slow to follow.” - Kenneth Grahame from The Wind in the Willows
Love your weeds! Most weeds are integral to a healthy ecosystem (providing ground cover for soil critters and adding nutrients to soils) and useful to humans and other animals, once such weed is Willowherb. (check out this small article about willowherb)
Give some love back to your garden (no matter how grand or humble) and celebrate with your own Willowherb mitts!
