Willow Leaf Scarf
Gradient-dyed yarns and gradient handspun yarns can both be beautifully presented in this leaf-shaped scarf. Knit from side to side, the scarf grows and tapers to a point with an elegant, narrow silhouette. Wear it gently draped around your neck for a swirl of color or wrap it around your shoulders for a light shawl.
We knit this into a long tube fabric “blank” using the Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine and then handpainted the fabric with five different colors in equal-sized sections. The blank was raveled and wound into a ball prior to knitting.
