Willow Branches Hat
Ready to try a brioche pattern? This pattern uses only one brioche increase and one brioche decrease to create a complicated looking brioche pattern. Using what I’ve learned from teaching brioche, I’ve tried to use the best elements of the brioche direction writing I’ve seen and create a pattern that eliminates confusion and makes brioche less of a mystery!
Love the hat? Knit the matching Willow Branches Cowl! Two skeins of Malabrigo Arroyo can make both projects!
Finished size—17” (43 cm) circumference, unstretched, 8” (20 cm) deep (fits heads up to 23”/58.5 cm)
Brioche is very stretchy, so this hat will fit a wide variety of head sizes. The hat above is modeled on a 23” (58.5 cm) head.
