The sequined sleeping mask…. you always wished for it, don’t you?

This sleeping mask is worked using the technique of Doubleknit. As one of the Godmothers of the sequin-beads-junkMAL2019 from the german audio podcast „Frickelcast“ I contributed this pattern.

You need two different colored sock yarns, facette sequins, eventually some filling and the braveness to get into a little fiddeling.

On my YouTube-Chanel “silkeuferdesign” you find some videos in which I show the used techniques (I talk german but perhaps you even though find them helpful). The pattern includes several photos to show what’s important.

Size: Length: 20 cm 8“, Height: 9 cm 3 ½”

Gauge: 28 sts and 38 R = 10 cm 4” Stockinette stitch N 3,0 mm (US 2,5)

Material:
Yarn: Color 1 (Frontside) 15g Sockyarn (400m 436yds/100g)
Color 2 (Backside + Strap) 20g Sockyarn (400m 436yds/100g)

Needles: Dpn‘s and circular needle 3,0 mm (US 2,5)
or 2 circular needles 3,0 mm (US 2,5) length is not crucial

Hook: Size 2,0 mm (US 0)

Notions: facette sequins, about 400 Pieces (don’t get scared!!), sewing thread and sewing needle, filling (about a hand full), tapestry needle.

Die Pailletten-Schlafmaske…. ihr habt sie euch doch die ganze Zeit schon innerlich gewünscht… gebt es zu, ihr habt es nur nicht gewusst.

Diese Schlafmaske, gearbeitet im Doppelstrick, ist mein Plunderpatenbeitrag zum Pailletten-Perlen-Plunder-FAL2019 vom Frickelcast.

Ihr braucht dazu zwei verschieden farbige Sockengarn, facettierte Pailletten, eventuell etwas Füllmaterial… und ein wenig Mut, euch auf eine kleine Frickelei einzulassen.
