Perfect for a relaxed beach day or a more elegant affair, you can dress this dress up or down for any occasion. Wear it all year by wearing it over a t-shirt with tights for the Fall and Winter and on its own in the Spring and Summer. Any way you wear it you will be sure get compliments on your amazing style and impressive knitting skills!

Machine Knitting Pattern

I used my LK150 mid-gauge knitting machine to make this dress. As long as you are able to get the gauge, you can use your knitting machine. All of the lace is done manually, and I have a video tutorial walking you through every step of making the dress here!

Hand Knitting Pattern

For the hand knitting pattern, this dress is worked in the round from the bottom up using a US 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, or the needle size needed to obtain the gauge. The gauge for the hand knitted dress is slightly different at 20 sts and 29 rnds = 4” in St st. The lace pattern is given both written and charted. Lots of photos and helpful tips are included to make your knitting experience fun!

Enjoy!
