The cool spring breeze gently blows across the top of the mountain meadow. The grasses sway gently in the breeze and the purple flowers of the wild Irises dance gracefully with the grasses and flowers to the sounds of nature in the wilderness.

Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows in 4 inches/ 10 cm on size 4 needles
Needles: US 4/ 3.5 mm
Notions: Stitch marker, and darning needle for weaving in ends.
Notes: Shawl is worked from the top right corner to the left edge. Increases are worked at the beginning of each right side row to create an asymmetrical triangle The main body of the is worked in stockinette stitch in a variegated or solid color and the shawl is finished with a lace section worked in a contrasting coordinating solid color. This shawl could easily be knit in all one color.
